This review is from: Electra Mini Ape Hanger Handlebar (Sports) I received my Electra mini ape handlebars by UPS today. When I first took them out of the box, the rise of the bars appeared a little lower in height than I anticipated. But they definitely looked better in person than they did in the product description caption. After mounting them, I was pleasantly surprised! The bars transformed the look of my beach cruiser and I like the way they feel better than the stock low sweeping ones. These mini ape hangers don't have too extreme of a rise on the height, providing a nice comfortable way to ride with your fists in the wind!!! Because of back issues, it places my hands at ribcage height for a more upright seating position. Make sure your bikes cables are long enough for the extra height. I installed these on a Trek cycle.
